I’ve been reading food blogs for years. I started cooking back in the beginning of college when blogging became a thing and taking photos of food wasn’t completely insane unless you were printing a cook book. I have my fair share of cook books, but I always feel more inspired when I can visualize what I will be preparing. After all, I’m still learning my way around the kitchen, and I’ve always learned best with visual aids. While I am very new to the art of food photography, it quickly became a way for me to merge two of my favorite hobbies, cooking and photography. Sadly, until Octavian learns the word “don’t touch” or starts school this will be a hobby saved for weekends.
There are tons and tons of food blogs on the internet. I’m sure we can all agree that, thanks to Pinterest, the inspiration to prepare delicious meals is limitless. The photography style, difficulty level, and number of ingredients varies from one blog to another. Either way, I am always so impressed by the beautiful meals these bloggers put together. The time and thought that goes into each recipe and every single photo- it’s a gift. So, here’s a list of a few of my favorites…
