Life can get crazy. I’m making things a little easier with 10 EASY Dinner Ideas for Busy (or not so busy) Nights.
Come to my house and you will probably find a refrigerator or pantry overflowing with food. If that isn’t the case, well, something is seriously wrong with me or we’re preparing for a month long vacation (both which haven’t happened in a long time).
That said, just because there’s food, that does not necessarily guarantee that there will be prepared, already cooked, ready to eat, food. Or just some leftovers from the night before- we really are not picky (except O. He’s definitely picky).
Anywho, this has been especially true the past few weeks.
As a result, I have been digging deep into my archives to prepare some of my favorite easy, go-to dinners.
I eat a lot of pizza. After all, it is one of my favorite foods (yes, I share this love with my 3 year old). Although homemade pizza has it’s very own special time and place, I am an especially big pan of DELIVERY PIZZA. Why? Well, for starters it’s the closest thing to room service I can get without paying for a hotel. Sometimes I’ll imagine I’m on vacation, at the beach and ignore the 10 loads of laundry piled in front of my face waiting to be folded.
I may have even gone on vacation last week- TWICE.
Our most recent discovery has been Papa John’s Gluten Free Pizza Crust. Already a fan of Papa John’s, I decided to give this new crust a try (NOT recommended for those customers with celiac disease or a strict gluten-free diet). Customize with all your fav toppings or keep it as simple as you want, now anyone on a gluten-free diet can enjoy delivery pizza (aka vacation)!
Crafted from never-frozen dough and ancient grains (including Sorghum, Teff, Amaranth, and Quinoa) this new Gluten-Free Crust with Ancient Grains is thin and crispy with a uniquely delicious flavor.
So what did we think of this new Gluten-Free Crust? Loved it! I especially loved that it was thin. Sometimes I prefer a thinner crust and this was just right. My child? My picky picky child? HE LOVED IT! In fact, he loved it so much he ate the entire pepperoni pizza.
Speaking of toppings, what are your favorites?
Just in case you’re not in the mood for a vacation (who are you?) here are a few other easy dinner ideas from yours truely.
