Breakfast Quinoa

This Breakfast Quinoa is the most delicious way to get in a serving of whole grains first thing in the morning. Quick and easy, it’s super sweet and the fresh berries and nuts will keep you energized for hours.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk - cow, almond, soy
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 2 tablespoon slivered almonds
  • 1 cup blueberries - or fruit of choice, fresh or frozen
  • Ground cinnamon - just a pinch
  • Sweetener of choice - honey, sugar, agave, optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the milk, cinnamon, and sweetener of choice (I used honey). Gently scoop in one cup of cooked quinoa, and top with slivered almonds and blueberries (plus any additional fruit of choice). Enjoy warm or cold.
