Easy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts Recipe
Learn how to make perfectly crispy Brussels sprouts using your air fryer! This easy recipe includes the option of serving it with a balsamic reduction, but feel free to sprinkle it with Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, or leave them plain if preferred.
Servings: 4 as a side
Heat your air fryer to 400°F.
Chop the ends from 1 pound of Brussels sprouts and chop in half lengthwise. Transfer to a large bowl and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket and gently shake into a single layer. Set the timer for 15 minutes.
Approximately halfway through (around the 7-8 minute mark), give the basket a shake or pause the cooking time, stir the sprouts, and resume cooking. With approximately 2-3 minutes remaining, add the garlic and continue to cook until the time is complete and garlic is golden.
Optional: If desired, serve your Brussels Sprouts with a simple balsamic reduction. Add the balsamic vinegar to a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until thickened, and slightly syrupy (reduce heat to prevent it from burning). At the end of cooking, whisk in the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Remove from heat and set aside.
Serve the Brussels sprouts drizzled with your prepared balsamic dressing, lime wedges, and crushed red pepper if desired.
