Honey mustard sauce is one of my absolute favorite things to make homemade. Perfect for dunking, dipping, or smearing all over just about anything, it’s super easy to make with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. Versatile, and easily customizable, it’s easy to make this creamy dipping sauce sweeter, creamier, or taste more like mustard. You can even use it as a marinade for baked chicken thighs or chicken breasts.
First, combine the mustard with the vinegar in a bowl.
Next, add and combine the honey with the mustard and vinegar combination.
Finally, stir in the mayonnaise and season with salt and black pepper, to taste.
Stored in an airtight container and in the refrigerator, it will last for approximately 2 weeks (or longer!) Just be sure to date your jar or container so that you know when it was made.
