Air Fryer Baked Potatoes make the very best baked potatoes. Just like your favorite restaurant-quality baked potatoes with crispy, salty outsides and tender, fluffy insides.

Servings: 4 potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 medium Russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  • Scrub each potato under cold running water and dry completely. Carefully poke each potato with a fork all over, at least 6-8 times.
  • Rub the entire surface of the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle generously with coarse sea salt (add more or less to taste).
  • Spray the inside basket of the air fryer with non-stick cooking spray. Place the potatoes on the inside of the air fryer basket in an even layer.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 30 minutes. Flip and continue to cook for an additional 20 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a knife through the thickest part of the potato (if it's fully cooked, a fork or knife will easily slide through the middle of the potato). If more time is needed, continue to cook, checking for doneness every 10-15 minutes.
  • Carefully remove fully cooked baked potatoes using cooking tongs or oven mitts. Enjoy served with all of your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Total cooking time: The total cooking time will vary greatly, so use the time provided as an estimate. Larger, fatter potatoes will take longer to cook, so if you're looking for faster-cooking air fryer baked potatoes, try to purchase smaller russet potatoes.
  • Storage: Keep leftover potatoes stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
