Chocolate Cherry Smoothie Recipe

This Chocolate Cherry Smoothie is an easy, delicious breakfast or anytime treat. Ready in minutes, it’s packed with fresh fruit and leafy greens and tastes just like a chocolate milkshake with hints of sweet, tart cherries.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk - I used vanilla almond milk
  • cups cherries - pits removed (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 frozen bananas - sliced
  • 1 cup frozen spinach
  • 4 tablespoon oatmeal
  • tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey - more to taste

Instructions

  • In the bowl of a high-speed blender, add ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed.

Notes

Store any leftover smoothie in an airtight jar or container in the refrigerator and finish within 24 hours; be sure to give it a good shake or stir before serving as separation over time is completely normal.
