Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad Recipe

This Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad provides a delicious twist to classic Caesar salad with the addition of chopped cooked chicken and tender pasta. Loaded with all the usual ingredients and flavors of a classic Caesar salad, it’s perfect for summer barbecues and potlucks, or as a main meal for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta - cooked to al dente
  • 2 cups cooked chicken - shredded or chopped
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese - freshly shredded or grated
  • 1 cup Caesar salad dressing - homemade or store-bought
  • 6 cups Romaine lettuce - chopped
  • 2 cups croutons

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente (about 2 minutes less than the package instructions). Drain and rinse with cool water, then set aside to cool.

Notes

  • As soon as the lettuce and the croutons have been added, serve immediately.
