Honey Mustard Recipe

This creamy honey mustard sauce is the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy—ideal for dipping chicken tenders, drizzling on sandwiches, or serving with veggies.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey - plus more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar - or fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce - optional
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper - optional
  • teaspoon salt - plus more to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the Mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, vinegar, yellow mustard, hot sauce (optional), cayenne pepper (optional) and salt until smooth and creamy.
    All the key ingredients—mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, white vinegar, hot sauce, cayenne, and salt—are added to a small mixing bowl in preparation for whisking.
  • For best results, transfer to an airtight container and allow it to chill for 10–15 minutes in the fridge before serving.
    Mixing bowl filled with smooth, creamy honey mustard sauce with a silky texture and a rich golden color.

Notes

Yield and Servings: This recipe makes approximately 18 tablespoons, or a little over one cup of sauce. The nutritional information is per 1 tablespoon of sauce.
