Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400℉ and line a large baking pan, casserole dish, or baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Combine the breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried basil, oregano, parsley, salt, and black pepper in a large gallon-size ziplock bag. Mix well, then add the oil and shake until combined (it should resemble wet sand).
  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels, then add them to the ziplock bag with the seasoning mixture. Shake, Shake, Shake. Until the chops are completely coated in seasoning.
  • Transfer the coated pork chops to the prepared baking dish or baking sheet with space between each chop. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145℉, as measured by a digital meat thermometer.
  • Allow the pork chops to cool for 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • The total cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of your chops. Thicker chops will take longer to bake.
  • Choose the right breadcrumbs. Use panko for extra crispiness, regular breadcrumbs for a traditional texture, or a mix of each if you can't decide.
