Add the chopped onion, chicken tenders, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, and cream cheese to the bowl of a large crockpot.
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours, or low for 5 hours.
Remove the chicken from the pot and shred with a fork. Return the chicken back to the pot, dissolving the cream cheese into the sauce and mixing well to combine.
