I started to cry hysterically. And, I may have completely peed myself by this point.
He grabs me and starts shouting and screaming into the darkness.
That wanted us off the cliff,
in the ocean.
I was in front with the headlamp, he was behind me, following my steps.
Yes, those are the cliffs you see. |
My blisters had popped and I could barely walk. The fiance took my bag and had to carry it down the hill to the beach.
My feet were in such pain, the only way I could get down was on my butt.
I kid you not.
But, we made it.
Despite the pain, terror, and peeing my pants,
we made it,
ALIVE.
Right away, I completely understood why this place is so worth the journey…
A completely unspoiled beach.
solitude.
absolute paradise.
Part III, next.
(I promise it won’t be a month later this time)
Yes, the scenary is awesome but ya I don't think I would sleep a wink. And hoowowwww hiking with that backpack OMG. I can barely walk from train stations to hostels with my backpack haha
SO amazing! I would have started crying to. As much as i love camping, I hate being alone in the dark. When I have to go pee I always try to wake up my husband to go with me and cry if he doesn't! haha
..WOW! regardless of all the unfortunate events leading up to it, the scenery is absoulute breathtaking! what an experience… and what a story to go with it 🙂 this is what it's all about. even though you may not see it at the time. eheh.
looking forward to part 3!
AND! he made you walk first!? hahahaha… omg!!!
i would've had my bf walk ahead, while i had on the headlamp! hahah.
omg! ahah. i just had to tell you, i'm only up to where you two decided to set up camp, scrolled down to see the picture of your campsite – and bursted out laughing hysterically! as i'm still doing ight now as i type. ahah.
oh, you poor thing! ahah, this is too funny though.
alright, i need to continue ;P i'm really hoping nothing tragic happens or i will feel like the dumbest person in the world.
nonetheless, still laughing. out loud. ahah… and i would have kicked your fiance if i were you. ahahahahaha.
So beautiful but ekkkk so scary! Can't wait to read the next part!

Can't believe the amazing travels you've been on! So jealous! Thanks for the comment on my blog-I've have for sure grown so much as a person since Jason's been away. It's crazy how maturing an experience like this can be!
Anyways-LOVE your blog, looking forward to following! 🙂

Oh my word…I know it wasn't funny, but I literally laughed out loud reading this. I'm actually convinced that your hysteria might have frightened off the boar more than your fiance shouting at it!
Can't wait to read part III!
Oh man, I would have peed my pants too in that situation ha ha. Good on you for sticking it through!!
This sounds like something my boyfriend would make me do. Ee went to Hawai'i this past summer so I could meet his family, where I was keen just to lounge and eat for two weeks. He insisted we do one 'easy' hike while we were Oahu and I about died. I also go the worst sunburn of my life.
Oh the things we do for the outdoorsy boys in our lives.
HAHA this is so funny! In a I really feel bad for you kind of way 🙂 I'm glad you lived to tell your tale.
so beautiful! But that is freaking scary.
