A lake with a mountain in the background

As mentioned in previous posts, on Saturday we went to Yosemite for a little day trip. Aside from the 8+ hours spent in the car that day, the day could not have gone any better. The weather was perfect and gorgeous and…warm? Yes, even warm (which made no sense at all since it snowed just the day before). I dressed for an afternoon in the snow and even packed O’s snow boots and pants. However, we were gifted with the most beautiful spring day. And, rather than stomping around in melting piles of snow, my husband, once again, managed to find (yes, you guessed it) a baby ocean.

Read about our other baby ocean discoveries here and here.

You guys, I don’t know how my husband keeps finding these warm pools of water, but he does. So, while my dad, husband and I quietly ate our lunch, my wild child stripped naked and just played. Moments like this, moments when my little boy gets to run, and play and be wild and crazy in his favorite place in the whole world, are my favorite moments in this life. And the fact that I got to spend this time with the 3 most important men in my life, all at the same time, made it that much better.

So guys, this is the good stuff. This is the very best of life. And for that I am so grateful.

And now, a photo dump. You’re welcome 🙂
