Learn how to make this Spicy Red Wine Hot Chocolate with a Halloween twist!

Spicy Red Wine Hot Chocolate in a white skull mug surrounded by spider webs

Chocolate and wine- two of my favorite things.

You too? Well hello new friend (if you’re not into chocolate or wine, that’s ok. I still want to be your friend).

Randomly yesterday I had a craving for hot chocolate.

It was past 5pm, so automatically I wanted some wine, too.

I also had this skull mug that I wanted to show off and for whatever reason this skull mug just SCREAMS cayenne pepper (hmm, just me?)

Well, I decided to make my own Halloween concoction- and give it a try before serving it on the big night (you know, just in case it was disgusting).

I loved it!

Rich, chocolatey and definitely bursting with the flavors of yummy red wine (if you’re expecting a sweet hot chocolate, get that out of your head right now, or leave the wine out- this is not your classic hot coco). The cayenne gives it the slightest kick and the cinnamon just ties the whole deal together.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
