When I want something fresh, vibrant, and easy to throw together, salad is always the answer. Whether I’m making a light side dish or a protein-packed main, these recipes are full of flavor and anything but boring.

My Crab Salad is one of those easy, make-ahead lunches I love during warmer months, and Tomato Basil Salad is perfect for summer dinners or backyard gatherings. I also like adding Cooked Beets to salads for extra color, flavor, and nutrition—especially when I’m keeping things plant-based. These recipes are simple, seasonal, and endlessly customizable.
