This Peach Strawberry Lemonade is made with sweet summer strawberries, juicy ripe peaches, and less added sugar than store-bought lemonades. A must-have during the hot summer months, it’s easy to whip up a big pitcher of this tart, sweet, and delicious homemade lemonade.
Strawberry Lemonade
Sipping on a tall glass of this amazing strawberry lemonade is my favorite way to beat the summer heat. Loved by both kids and adults, this delicious homemade fruity lemonade is made with fresh pureed peaches and strawberries, fresh lemon juice, and minimal amounts of sugar.
Best made in large batches, this delicious strawberry lemonade is perfect for a large group, or kept stored in the refrigerator to enjoy all week long.
Ingredients in Homemade Peach Strawberry Lemonade
- Fresh peaches
- Fresh strawberries
- Water
- Sugar
- Fresh lemon juice
- Ice
- Mint
I do not recommend using lemon juice concentrate. Since we’re making fresh lemonade, we really want to use fresh lemon juice. It will taste better and yes, a whole lot fresher.
The same applies to peaches and strawberries. Not that there’s anything wrong with using frozen peaches or frozen strawberries, however, using frozen fruit will yield a less crisp and clear lemonade. So, visually it will probably turn out looking pretty cloudy. If this doesn’t bother you, or frozen peaches and strawberries are all that’s available, that’s totally OK, too.
How to Make Peach Strawberry Lemonade
- Gather some fresh, ripe, and seasonal fruit. I chose to make this lemonade with peaches and strawberries, but feel free to use just strawberries or just peaches.
- Chop the fruit into large chunks and puree in a blender or food processor.
- Strain the fruit puree through a fine-mesh strainer to separate any unprocessed bits of skin or seeds.
- Prepare the simple syrup.
- Mix it all together in a large pitcher with ice.
- Add garnishes.
Even though there are several steps involved in making your own homemade lemonade, they are so incredibly easy to do and take very little time. Besides, the reward is a giant pitcher of strawberry peach lemonade, so it’s totally worth it.
Recipe Tips and Modifications
There are a bunch of different ways to make this recipe unique and totally different.
- Top off each individual glass of lemonade with a little soda- soda water, ginger ale, or lemon-lime soda are highly recommended.
- Add some alcohol. Hard cider, champagne, rosé, or rum would be my top picks.
- Add more sugar for a sweeter drink.
- Make a flavored simple syrup to give it a deeper fruity flavor.
- Add a different herb. Truth- I wanted to add basil as the garnish but my plant died from the summer heat. Mint was my second choice.
- Freeze them into POPSICLES.
- Try different fruits. Peaches are only in season a couple of months out of the year, if you can’t get your hands on any, try something more seasonal like raspberries or cherries.

Instructions
For the Peach Strawberry Puree
- Add the peaches, strawberries, and water to the bowl of a large blender or food processor and process until pureed.

For the Homemade Simple Syrup
- Add the granulated sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a low boil, stirring occasionally. Allow mixture to boil for 3 minutes or so, or until mixture becomes syrupy. Set aside to cool.
For the Lemonade
- Fill a large pitcher with ice. Add the fresh lemon juice, peach and strawberry puree, and simple syrup. Mix well to combine. Fill with water (approximately 6-8 cups) and stir well. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. When ready to serve, serve in glasses with ice and desired garnishes. Enjoy!
Jessica’s Notes
- I pureed my fruits in my Vitamix. This blender blends so well that I didn’t have much leftover seeds or skin left behind in the strainer. If this is you, that’s ok, you didn’t do anything wrong.
