Ranch dressing is probably one of my favorite foods.
Yes, I knooowww, I say this a lot, but seriously guys, we’re talking about Ranch here. You know, the creamy, smooth, herby goodness that tastes ah-maz-ing on E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.
I’m obviously a pretty big fan.
Now, as if this magical condiment born in the 1950’s couldn’t get better, it does.
The other afternoon, I decided to try my hand at my own (mostly) Homemade Lowfat Sriracha Ranch Dressing. Why low fat? Well, because I eat A LOT of it, more than I care to admit, and why Sriracha? because everything tastes better with a little sweet and spicy chili. It’s a fact.
As I mixed the ingredients I was a little nervous, could this really taste as good as the full-fat stuff? Is it even possible?
My heart and my waistline are happy to announce that it is definitely possible. In fact, if you ask my husband, he’ll say it’s even better.
With football season upon us, this will surely be my new go-to dip recipe for all things that love dip: veggies, chips, pizza, and all the other delicious game day party food.
Speaking of pizza, I also really love pizza and my husband’s homemade pizza with forever be my favorite. However, I don’t know about you guys, but when friends and family gather for a big game and I’m hosting, I like to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible.
So, on these occasions, I let my husband sit and relax, while I make a Target run and get a little help from Red Baron Frozen Pizza.
Because, every once in awhile, we all could use a little (or a lot) of help. These yummy pizzas have the PERFECT crust for dipping into my Sriracha Ranch Dressing. Unlike other pizza crusts, Red Baron Classic Crust Pizza blends right into the pizza, resulting in a crust similar to a slightly crunchy cheesy breadstick.
Dunked in some Sriracha Ranch? MAGIC.
Oh yes, and there’s pie too. We can’t forget about the pie.
Nothing beats homemade pie, but let’s face it, if my husband doesn’t have to make the pizza pie on game day than I certainly don’t have time to make delicious, creamy, buttery pies all day long and miss all the fun. After eating a piece of Edward’s Key Lime Pie at a relative’s house over the holidays, I knew I had discovered my new favorite go-to frozen dessert.
So, tell me, what are your plans for the big games coming up? Are you hosting or will you be attending a party? What will you be serving?
Time to stock up!
